- Hi Andy...
-
- : I would have bought a 3.5" drive myself because they are cheaper and twice as
- : fast :-(
-
- Maybe for you, I had one and nothing but trouble, all the time!! :(
- Finally got rid of it.
-
- : Still, your friend has a "cradle" for his machine; these were included with
- : every A1200 and fitted onto holes in the shielding. If you bought the machine
- : second-hand then the previous owner may have removed it to fit a 3.5" drive?
- : They were never sold off the page as far as I know, so perhaps your best bet
- : is to find a friend with a 3.5" drive in his A1200 (or 600, yes this is
- : possible) and buy it off him :-)
-
- I asked another 1200 user that got his without a hd in it and he says that
- he did not get any "cradle". It seems that we over here got screwed, again.
- Will look around anyways, I am more interested in just the purpose of it. I
- can always tape it down.
-
- : Or maybe Amiga Technologies (+44 (0)1628 770025) can help...
-
- May just do that. :)
